Damn, drat, arse.
This morning the dreaded cold appeared. Four days incubation, wed, tues, mon, SUNDAY. No doubt some dirty sod sneezed all over the crokery at Norwood Hall two minutes before Smalesy arrived with a pan flat imune system.
So for the next couple of weeks, it's a case of coming off the gas and soft pedalling until it shifts. Don't stop.....just slow down a bit and let nature take its course.
We have a full three weeks before the racing starts (all be it tongue in cheek). Lots of oranges, whiskey easy miles and high fat food until the green stuff disappears. Get well soon Smalesy!
