Epic, part two

Well.....last week went really well. Yesterday's YCF Clubrun degenerated into the usual 1234JVL road race and as usual....I wasn't having any of it. I went through the start intentionally 15mins late and did the course solo on the rivet. What made yesterday special was the force 10 storm which blew its arse off throughout. Without exaggerating, when the wind has a 51min 25 mile TTer down to 10mph on the flat, it's blowing hard. And believe me, after years on SRM's, there will have been 400w going through the pedals. I always smile to myself after this event, as I hear so many riders telling everyone how strong they with muddy faces. Muddy faces mean just one thing, wheelsucking.

Despite being absolutely smashed after about 80 miles on my own at 20mph, at last I can be confident that all is well and after a few races I'll be sharp as ever.

Roll on the YCF10, first opportunity to try the TT bike even if it's at 75% until the hamstrings stretch.
