Normal service appears to be resumed.

Thank God for that. After a couple of weeks in the wilderness the stubborn bastard in me seems to be back. Tuesday's session was missed after waking to a snow flurry that in hindsight shouldn't have stopped me getting out. Thursday went off without a problem....and then the heavens opened with the white stuff yesterday morning. Back to my old self.......waterproofed up, loads of liniment on round my hind quarters and out I went bashing a big gear in awful conditions. Just so very pleased with myself.
This morning, I was glued to the road for the first ten miles, nowt like bashing a big gear in the cold and wet to give one heavy legs the day after.

On the equipment front, finally, I stumped up and treat the red cx bike to a very nice pair of Time Atac Carbon pedals so I could cascade the fifteen year old Alum's down onto the spare MTB. Spent this afternoon fixing up the interior of the race bus, in particular the sound system ready for some major focus for the forthcoming races.

My first TT start sheet of 2011 shows that there are some serious points up for grabs at the YCF 10 so I suppose I better try rather than hide behind the usual "first race, just trying my kit out" routine.

Happy dayz.....
