What a fantastic day. The early morning session went perfectly to plan. Dryish roads, sun shining if a little cold, but best of all, I was up for it.
Within five minutes, I had dropped into a good rhythm rolling a big gear. The stupid Polar HRM took ten minutes to warm up but quickly stabilised at around 150-160, not bad at all in sub zero temperatures.
After riding blind without any form of speedo, I thought it would be interesting to pop a gps on for the session.
For whatever reason, mashed it round at 20mph ave without using the little ring. Not bad for Dacre Banks and Pot Bank on 48x12-25!
Bring it on.
